Senior Caregiver

• *Position:** PSW / Senior Caregiver
• *Job Overview:**

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide personalized care to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of our clients in various settings such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or private residences.

• *Duties:**

- Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

- Support clients with mobility and transfers, utilizing assistive devices when necessary.

- Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary requirements.

- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.

- Engage in companionship activities and provide emotional support to clients.

- Assist with household tasks such as light cleaning and maintaining a tidy environment.

- Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behavior to the appropriate healthcare provider.

- Ensure a safe environment by identifying and addressing potential hazards promptly.

• *Qualifications:**

- Experience in caregiving, preferably in settings such as nursing homes, home care, or assisted living facilities.

- Knowledge of dementia care practices is a plus.

- Ability to perform meal preparation, medication administration, and light housekeeping tasks efficiently.

- Strong communication skills and empathy towards seniors or individuals requiring care.

- Certification in medication administration or willingness to undergo training.

- Ability to handle physical demands associated with caregiving responsibilities.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 per week
